'Schilling'
Cultivation is year-round on the windowsill, very bright (west window, 4th floor, direct sunlight without shading).
Watering: weekly dipping with rain or osmosis water (depending on availability), in very warm weeks spraying several times a week with rain or osmosis water until the plant is almost completely dry.
Fertilising is done almost all year round every 1 to 2 weeks (also in the low light season, then approx. every 3 to 4 weeks) with a standard fertiliser from an orchid grower with approx. 400 µS/cm, Epsom salt (Epsom salt, 1g/l) is sprayed once a month.
Temperatures vary from 18 degrees in winter to over 28 degrees in summer.
Propagation
The plant was self-pollinated in late summer 2023, bore four capsules and in February 2024 two mature capsules were harvested and the seedlings were germinated.
